Herbal Peels

Clean, botanical ingredients delivering natural results without harsh chemicals

WHAT IS A HERBAL PEEL?

A Herbal Peel is a unique skin rejuvenation treatment that uses pure, natural herbs. No acids, no synthetic ingredients, and no abrasive particles. Developed in the late 1950s, this non-surgical procedure supports deep skin renewal using the healing power of plants.

Unlike traditional chemical peels that trigger regeneration through trauma, herbal peels stimulate the skin without causing injury, making them ideal for sensitive, reactive, or compromised skin types.

HOW DOES THE HERBAL PEEL WORK?

Each peel is made from a finely milled blend of crushed herbs, rich in natural enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. These are massaged into the skin with a specialised gel or lotion. During this process, herbal particles settle into the pores and slowly release their actives over several days.

This method:

  • Increases microcirculation

  • Stimulates gentle exfoliation

  • Boosts detoxification via lymphatic drainage

  • Improves cell turnover and collagen production

The result? Stronger, smoother, brighter skin without compromising the skin barrier.

HERBAL B PEEL

A gentle, rejuvenating treatment that uses a blend of crushed herbs to stimulate skin renewal without acids or synthetic ingredients. It’s ideal for dull, tired, or sensitive skin and helps address breakouts, congestion, dehydration, and early signs of ageing, all without visible peeling or downtime.

This weekly peel is perfect for maintaining healthy skin function and restoring your natural glow. It strengthens the skin barrier, increases circulation, and infuses the skin with vitamins, enzymes, and minerals, all while respecting even the most delicate complexions.

Ideal for: sensitive skin, congestion, dullness, maintenance between deeper treatments.

PHYTO PEEL

A mid-level herbal resurfacing treatment that offers more stimulation than the B Peel, while remaining non-invasive and barrier safe. It’s designed for skin that needs a deeper detox or cell turnover boost, without the downtime of the C Peel.

Combining crushed herbs with enzyme exfoliation and calming actives, this treatment improves skin texture, supports lymphatic drainage, and encourages regeneration. It’s ideal for skin that’s showing signs of stagnation, stress, or sluggish function, and is well tolerated by mildly reactive skin.

Ideal for: dull, thickened skin, early pigmentation, sluggish circulation, mild sensitivity.

C – PEEL

The Herbal C Peel is our most intensive herbal treatment, designed to resurface and renew the skin through a natural peeling process, revealing fresh, clear skin in just 5 days.

Using a potent blend of crushed herbs, the peel is massaged into the skin and absorbed deeply into the pores. Over the next few days, the herbs remain active, stimulating circulation, boosting collagen, and accelerating cell turnover. Around day 3, visible peeling begins, and by day 5, you’ll see a noticeably smoother, more even complexion.

Unlike chemical peels, the C Peel doesn’t damage the skin. It works with your body’s natural healing process to safely lift away damaged surface layers. Home care is essential during the peeling phase, and a patch test is recommended for sensitive skin.

Ideal for: pigmentation, acne scarring, sun damage, rough texture, and tired, ageing skin.
Results: visible peeling + fresh new skin within 5 days.

Are Herbal Peels right for me?

Herbal Peels are suitable for all skin types and customisable for your specific skin concerns — especially if you’re looking for a natural, non-acidic solution to improve skin texture, brightness, congestion, or sensitivity. Because the treatment is free of harsh chemicals and doesn’t damage the skin barrier, it’s ideal for those wanting real results without irritation or downtime. We’ll always assess your skin first to tailor the peel to your needs.

How often can I receive a Herbal Peel?

It depends on which peel is right for you:

  • B Peel can be done weekly for ongoing skin maintenance or in a corrective series.

  • Phyto Peel can be done regularly as part of a skin health program, typically every 2–4 weeks.

  • C Peel is deeper and should be spaced every 4 weeks to allow the new skin to fully regenerate.

We’ll personalise your treatment plan during your consultation.

Do I need to avoid the sun after a Herbal Peel?

Herbal Peels do not increase sun sensitivity like acid-based treatments can. However, after a C Peel, it’s important to protect your new skin while it’s healing. We recommend avoiding prolonged sun exposure and using a high-quality SPF daily — especially during the peeling phase.

Can other areas besides the face be treated?

Absolutely. Herbal Peels can also be used on the back, décolletage, arms, hands, and even the stomach or thighs. They’re fantastic for body concerns like scarring, pigmentation, stretch marks, or sun damage. We’ll discuss your goals and customise the application for any area you’d like to target.

What’s the difference between a Herbal Peel and a Chemical Peel?

Chemical peels use synthetic acids (like glycolic, salicylic, or TCA) to create a controlled injury in the skin. This triggers cell turnover by removing layers of the epidermis, which can lead to visible peeling, redness, and downtime. While effective for some concerns, they can disrupt the skin barrier and increase sensitivity — especially in reactive or delicate skin types.

Herbal peels, like our Herbs2Peel system, take a completely different approach. They’re made from pure, crushed medicinal herbs that are massaged into the skin, where they gradually release active nutrients over several days. This stimulates circulation, detoxification, and skin renewal — without burning, wounding, or damaging the epidermis.

In short:

  • Herbal peels work with the skin to strengthen and regenerate

  • Chemical peels create injury to force exfoliation and renewal

Herbal peels are ideal for clients who want results without compromising their skin health — especially those with sensitivity, pigmentation, or barrier damage.

Can I receive a Herbal Peel if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes — herbal peels are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, depending on your skin type and the specific treatment chosen.

  • The B Peel and Phyto Peel are non-invasive, non-toxic, and contain no acids, chemicals, or synthetic ingredients, making them suitable options for many pregnant or breastfeeding clients.

  • The C Peel, however, is a deeper treatment and is not recommended during pregnancy due to the stronger stimulation and visible peeling phase.

We’ll always assess your skin and health status before beginning any treatment, and can create a pregnancy-safe plan that supports your skin without any risk to you or your baby.
